  • Tuesday to Friday: 9.30 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9.30 am to 7 pm
  • Monday: closed

From 8 July and during the summer holidays: 

  • Tuesday to Sunday: 9.30 am to 7 pm
  • Monday: closed

Special openings

  • Mondays 20 and 27 October 2025
  • Mondays 22 and 29 December 2025

Annual closing

  • 1 January, 1 May and 25 December

  • You must have a ticket even if admission is free.
  • For reduced-price, free or member tickets: proof required during ticket control.
  • For the Palais des enfants, adults and children must both have a ticket.

Individual visitors enter via the entrance shared with the Grand Palais, avenue du Général Eisenhower. 

Visitors with tickets access via the Rotunda of the Palais de la découverte at ground floor level (Level 0).

Lifts are available and stop at all floors.

Wheelchairs, prams and headphones are available on request.

Advance booking is required for on-demand assisted visits organised by accessibility officers. 

Accessibility at Palais des enfants and Transparency exhibition: 

Transparency exhibition: French Sign Language (LSF) films for deaf visitors, ‘Touch and See’ equipment for visually impaired visitors, and Braille on specific items for blind visitors.
