Visitors booking online will need to enter a valid membership number.

  • Children under the age of 2 with a valid ID card
  • People with disabilities and one companion with a disability card, a "Priorité pour personne handicapée" card, a "Mobilité inclusion" card (CMI), an AAH certificate or a veteran disability card.
  • Foreign nationals with disabilities and one companion with a disability card.
  • Holders of the press card.
  • Holders of the Universcience VIP card. 

Useful information!

  • Adults and children must both have a ticket.
  • Tickets are valid only for the booked date and time.
  • For reduced-price, free or member tickets: proof required during ticket control.
  • You must have a ticket even if admission is free.

Advance booking is recommended due to limited capacity. We also recommend arriving 15 minutes before your time slot to fully enjoy your visit.

3 catering areas welcome you in the building:

  • Le Grand Café, accessible via the Rotonde Clemenceau
  • The Réséda Café by Thierry Marx, located on the mezzanine above the reception hall
  • A catering outlet signed by Thierry Marx, located in the Salon Seine

Self-service lockers are available tin the cloakroom, located on level -1 under the Place Centrale (access via the Square Jean Perrin entrance). 

Three locker sizes are available for your personal belongings: 30 × 50 × 49 cm, 30 × 50 × 64 cm and 30 × 50 × 98 cm.

Please make sure to empty your locker before the site closes.

Useful information!

For comfort and safety reasons, bags larger than 42 × 30 × 20 cm are not permitted in the visiting areas.

If you lose an item during your visit, please make a declaration online. You can also contact the lost and found point located on the cloakroom level.

For the comfort of visitors with young children: 

  • changing tables are available in all sanitary areas
  • baby carriers are available from the cloakroom on presentation of proof of identity. They and must be returned at the end of the visit.

Accessibility

Lifts are available and stop at all floors.

Wheelchairs, prams and headphones are available on request.

Advance booking is required for on-demand assisted visits organised by accessibility officers.

For your comfort, a range of equipment is provided free of charge: 

  • wheelchairs,
  • cane seats or rounded-tip canes,
  • magnifying glasses,
  • weighted blankets,
  • magnetic induction loop (for visitors with hearing impairments). 

Available from the cloakroom on presentation of proof of identity, these equipments must be returned at the end of the visit. 

French Sign Language (LSF) films for deaf visitors, "Touch and See" equipment for visually impaired visitors, and Braille on specific items for blind visitors are available at Transparency exhbition, at the Palais des enfants.
